One of my longest known friends in the Seattle area (who happens to live an hour north of us now & our paths don’t cross very often) called this week and hadn’t heard our news. After hanging up, I was a bit horrified. Is there anyone else out there who doesn’t know?! Well, no better way to advertise to the masses than on loveoirs. We’re moving in two weeks. Yup, we’re headed back to Colorado. If you’re hearing this here for the first time, my apologies. It has come upon us quite quickly. We first toyed with the idea in early April. Harry applied for a job within a month or so, was flown out, offered the position, and starts in early August. Meanwhile, we’re packing, getting work done on the house to prepare it for sale (this has inevitably led to lots more work needing to be done), trying to see as many friends as possible, visiting as many of our favorite local establishments as we can, etc… Oooh, Seattle, we will miss you.

On a completely different note, Charlie had his six month check-up one month early since we’re moving. He is now 18lbs, 4oz (double his birth weight). If he keeps this up, we’re going to have a 25 pound year old kid!
