Newton’s First Law of Motion:

An object at rest or traveling in uniform motion will remain at rest or traveling in uniform motion unless acted upon by a net force.

Hypotheses:

  1. Every object is a system and is also part of a larger system
  2. All systems change
  3. All systems are in motion (no system is at rest)
  4. Systems exhibit the properties of the systems they encompass but not the values
  5. Scale is not a reliable predictor of value

I would appreciate pointers to materials that support or oppose these, and of course, to existing hypotheses and theories that support or oppose these.
